The 4 Stages Of Preparing For A Wedding

A wedding is a lot of work and preparing for one takes time. A wedding is not something that can be executed in a few weeks unlike any other party so you need to make sure you have a plan and stick to it. There are a lot of things that need to be done and some needs to be done before others. Here are some stages of preparing for a wedding and what you need to do at each step.

Before one year

In this day and age where weddings and the wedding industry is super competitive, you need to start getting ready as soon as you can. Most reservations are done at least a year earlier so once you get your dates figured out start looking for what you need. Whether it be the venue, Perth wedding photographer, band or anything else if what you want is popular then you need to start working of reserving more than a year in advance.

Within one year

Once you are within a year and have everything reserved it’s time to start planning out what you want to do. Start off by doing your research and collect ideas. Whether it be the decoration, the menu for food and even the list of songs it helps to start early. Once you know what you want to start meeting up with your suppliers and start planning out what you want. For example, to meet the people in the wedding photography studio and figure out how you want your wedding album and so on.

One month

With one month for your wedding, you need to have most of the things sorted out and make sure you keep this for small adjustments. Most importantly this is the time you have to work on yourself. You need to look good on your wedding day so things like doing to the salon, exercising, getting dancing lessons are some things you can start doing at this time. This is the time where you can add those extra things.

The day before

The day before the wedding is when you hand over all the controls to someone else. Whether it’s to coordinate with the DJ, pay the car rental or anything else make sure you don’t have to worry about those. Since a wedding day and be quite a strenuous take this time to rest and relax. You will be thankful that you did this.
